In July at the Hazard street festival The Muffia took several
questions and displayed them plain and simple to the shoppers, commuters,
children, workers, locals, visitors and other artists. The Muffia also handed
out small hand written letters, notes and questions throughout the day to the
public. These mini envelopes contained philosophical questions and hints
to make one think about stereotypes, motives and drives from mainstream
media and culture. Using a play on words and positioning ourselves in
central locations around the city centre (plus wearing the unmistakable muff
wig) helped to draw attention to the notions we wished for people to ponder on.
