On the 7th of March I set off to the Milllennium Bridge to meet women and men who arranged to meet me after a call out to do a public intervenion. The day was a success, we managed to get loads of people involved in creating an image in celebration of International Women's Day. We also created awareness of IWD and spoke to a few people about the statement used for the image and the issue of Equality (this years theme for IWD). The statement is from the first women to be a member of the Canadian Houses of Parliment.
